What an insanely frustrating book. In the best way. The whole time I was just Fitz wondering how no one could do anything to stop the slow fall of Shrewd and Buckkeep. I literally kept thinking as if I was a part of it like “why don’t they believe us???” Wit and Skill plot continues to get more intriguing. The Fool continues to be The Character ever, literally every seen with him was my favorite I love him so so much. I’m giving this is a little lower rating than the first because a lot of the plot was just Fitz jumping between people the whole time and I miss following his childhood in the first one. Plus, though I understand its purpose, I wasn’t the biggest enjoyer of the Molly plotline. But I absolutely adored Kettricken’s progression and Fitz’ growth. You really see how much he matures. The end was appropriately crazy, I can not wait for the next book!!
