I wonder if people who are not in English-speaking countries have noticed it about the books available, but here in Poland, especially for young adult books (since younger people are more comfortable speaking English), more and more books use the original English title rather than translate it into Polish (the rest of the book would be translated into Polish).

It makes me a bit sad because there is less creativity to come up with cool titles in Polish. Like the Polish title of The Hunger Games slaps, I think it's better than the English one (link to a post that explains it: https://pagebound.co/posts/166511) , and I think if The Hunger Games came out now, they would have just stick to the English title, and we would lose a really amazing bit of creativity.

I think translation can elevate the book by using words not available in the original and I think we're losing it a bit as more people are comfortable in English.

Bonus: Dirty Dancing in Polish got translated to Spinning Sex when it first came out and my parents still cannot let it go.

Hii, I have a question for my fellow manga readers! How do you keep track of the mangas you read here? I’ve been very inconsistent with it, with some where I put as “finished” only the first volume, some where I put the first and last, some randomly as I read on.. I usually read by chapter release online, so I don’t really know where a volume starts, but sometimes I feel like I could be more consistent so to see if anyone posts something in the forum of a specific volume, or just share my thoughts on a specific scene, you know? Also I never really put a volume as reading since I tend to either finish one in one sitting or drag it for weeks, but I don’t know, it could be interesting to see in my stats at the end of the year when I really read a specific manga Any thoughts?:)
