Wynnrie finished reading and wrote a review...
I had a lot of fun with this one. World building was awesome and I needed more.

I'm asking this purely out of curiosity. I tend to look up reviews after I've finished a book already because I want to know what other people think of it. I RARELY look up reviews beforehand; I don't want them to influence my impression of a book, since I know tastes are subjective. The only exception to this is monthly roundups people do of their reading, where they share little reviews of what they read throughout the month, but I think that's different since I'm not going out of my way to look up reviews of a specific book.
I'm interested in hearing why you read reviews!

I am finding that I want to complete ALL the PB quests. My innate desire to to get all the achievements also applies here it seems 😅

I was looking at the stuff I read, and I notice there is not a lot of forum posting because it's not as trendy.
I'm sure some of you have had this problem.
I think it would be fun if we buddy read titles to populate the forums.
If you're interested, maybe put a title you're interested in reading in the comments and see if people want to join you.
Worst case, people get more niche recommendations of future books to pick up.

Hey guys! If you have the same bookish algorithm as me you might have stumbled on that one tiktok about the sisterhood of the traveling journal: a group of people, each with a journal, send each other the journal and fill it with special pages, prompts, art, etc. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdKCeLyf/ It hasn't left my mind, mostly because I've dabbled into penpal-ing when I was younger but the internet was starting to be a thing when I was a teenager, and it was so new and exciting that I didn't invest further into the hobby, while older me still finds it really cosy and tempting and ✨romantic✨ Anywho fellow nerds, would anyone be interested in starting something like this? Also I get that it's better when it's in the same country and I guess that it can get crazy expensive with international shipping, but wouldn't you find it interesting if the people came from different countries? Thoughts?

Hi! As the title says, can either be 1st or 3rd person, about a musician being a musician. Can be nonfiction or fiction, spec fic or not! For non spec fic books, ideally someone in established in the industry, or starting to establish themselves in the industry.
This is mostly for writing research, and I was just realizing that while I know how a writer sees the world, I know next to nothing about musicians. Just need reccs of whatever was enjoyable for yall to read. Thanks!

I'm am trying to chase my high after having the misfortune of closing the third book in The Three Body Problem trilogy a year ago.
What I'm looking for is the most unhinged insanity to exist. With hard science, and themes that make me go.... wut?
Excluding: Children of Time: on my list The Expanse series: didn't like it.
Anything helps!!
