The more I read on, the more similarities I find of any books by Lynn Painter— that I had to research if they were related. The same name of the side characters and they have the same nicknames as well. Am I the only one who felt this ?

And now I want to remember every moment like a mental photo album with glittery hearts and little snowflakes on the cover.

I say this kindly, but wtf it’s going on 😅 this one is a hard one to follow via audio with my ADHD brain.

Jesus fucking christ. I knew it was coming but Jesus. I haven't been able to breathe for the last three chapters.

i’m a self-proclaimed new reader, and i was wondering how everyone else reads—in silence? with music?
i’ve been exploring different subgenres of fiction to see what sticks most, and i’ve been enjoying bathing myself with respective “ambience” videos on youtube.
music with lyrics more often than not interrupts my brain. i find silence peaceful, though it can be difficult to find those silent spaces outside of your own domain :’)

I've been really curious if others have the same way of reading as me. For the past 3? maybe even 4 years, I have been reading my tbr in order of the date I added books. Something about following a list of things that have just randomly been added over time just gives my brain a dopamine hit. It does mean that I'm no longer used to reading other books spontaneously (though I do need an occasional sapphic romance for my wlw self) so I feel sad that I can't really partake in book clubs/read-alongs anymore... My heart just isn't in it compared to reading my backlist.
Anyone else have a similar way of reading? (And yes, I am neurodivergent)

Now I love ThriftBooks but I was wondering if anyone out there has used other websites like ThriftBooks.
I’ve heard of World of Books before and would be willing to try them out. Or should I just stick to ThriftBooks?
