How do you rate a book? Do you base your overall star rating on quaility or enjoyment or something else?
A year ago, I decided I wanted to be more consistent with my star ratings so I decided to use the following as my guide:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved it/a favourite! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enjoyed; Would reread; would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enjoyed; would recommend ; ⭐️⭐️ Didn't enjoy; would still recommend ⭐️ Didn't enjoy; would not recommend
But I'm not sure if I have it balanced well. I think maybe I should change it to:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really enjoyed; Would reread; Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enjoyed; Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Didn't enjoy; would still recommend ⭐️ Didn't enjoy; would not recommend
But I'm not sure what to put at 3 stars.
Could I know other peoples star rating criteria, please?
Thank you!

Hi everyone! Maybe I am the only one, but yesterday I finished the last book in this season's readalong, but I didn't get the badge yet. I checked: I read all the books and reviewed and/or posted in the forum. Has anyone else got the same problem?

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m curious: How many books do you physically own? (mainly asking about physical books because my primary concern is shelf space) Are you happy with this number? Do you do regular unhauls to maintain/get closer to your ideal number? And on a related note, what percentage of those books have you actually read? 😉
I have about 300 books on my shelves, and I’ve currently read about 40% of them, which I’m hoping to remedy this year! (either by reading more of them or unhauling the ones I’m no longer interested in)
