I was so happy to see a romance quest. I read a lot of romance, and in this quests there were manes I recognize, but still had not read any books of. So far the three book I have read have been really disappointing, and I believe they could all have been much better through some hard Edits. I am not likely to buy more books by Elle Kennedy or Lucy Score, and that was perhaps not how this was supposed to work?

If I could give this a zero, I would.
I love romance. I love dark stories. So why did I hate this book? Simply put, it feels like a 13 year old tried to write an edgy, smutty story on Wattpad. There wasn't a plot at all, just two people trying to get in each other's pants. The entire time I felt like Rowan had no character development at all short of being a general overprotective jerk with anger issues, and Sloane, who had the potential to be an excellent lead, lost every ounce of cool factor she had within the first few chapters. Edgy piercings don't make up for a lack of characterization. When I read a story like this one, smut is to be expected. But honestly, this felt borderline pornographic and like the mind of a middle-school boy, especially when it adds nothing to the plotline. I've read many a romance in my time, but every time something was gained from the story. Not this one. It almost feels like the author is trying to make the reader DNF. Why it's reccomended for teens, I will never understand. I wish I could erase this book from my mind and keep to better-written books. It had such a good idea behind it, but the execution was garbage. Would not reccomend.

It is officially 5th August for me and it is my birthday 🥂🥳✨
I just came to the age i dreamed about for years. For some people, this is 18, 21. And 23 is for me! 🤧
How did being 23 treat you? What is the age you dream about? For me, this is my last year of my uni. I kinda feel nervous, excited to see where my journey will go 🙂↕️ I sometimes feel late to everything, my peers younger than me by years. I have long education life ahead of me still (master + phd) So yes, i am kinda nerved about all of these, still trying to figure out life. But it is okay, i will set everything right, we have time 😌
Were you like me?
I genuinely wonder about the book i should read, experiences i should have at 23, what did you read/do at 23? I appreciate if you drop by and comment the book/thing i cant miss at 23! :) happy long lives everyone! 🤍🥂
