So Emily Brontë really said what would it look like if love was the problem

The Everlasting is romantasy at its most refined. Gothic, whimsical, and beautifully cerebral, it reads like poetry where every word feels carefully planted and allowed to bloom.
The story follows Owen, a scholar whose “whole life existed only to bear witness…” to Una, the Everlasting Lady Knight. She is no damsel. Una is fierce, epic, and wholly her own. Their love is built on respect and admiration, not need. They understand each other so deeply that changing one another would mean undoing something eternal.
With time travel, manipulated history, and fated lovers trapped in a devastating ouroboros of faith, they always find their way back to each other. Across time. Across loss.
It is quietly devastating and completely heartbreaking. I finished it in shambles, crying, and still thinking about it long after. Short, romantic, and hauntingly beautiful. A six star read. Masterpiece! No notes.
