WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH! This is SO GOOD! WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO READ THIS SERIES! I absolutely adore Sevro and Ragnor. Rogue why?!?!? Mustang please please please. Genuinely distraught I can't even string a sentence together.

Wow! What an incredible read. I wasn't sure going into this one if I would like it, but HOLY SHIT! Darrow is a great protagonist and the writing is great. I love how Eo's death really haunts the narrative in this book and I think it will only continue to do so in the next book. All the characters are unique and stand out. Sevro and Mustang are my favorites, even Cassius has grown on me. I absolutely cannot WAIT to start the next book.

Read this one for book club and I must say, if I wasn't reading it for a book club, I might have DNFd around 50%. I'm glad I didn't because the book really picks up in the second half. Callum is a very sweet character and I loved how much he embraced Oliver and Christian. It was super sweet to read. I didn’t totally understand why he was so shameful about his past hookups (possible religious guilt?), but I do like how Rupert helped him open up to that side of himself. Rupert is a little bit obnoxious in the beginning, but he really opens up in the second half. I love his journey to becoming a father, it's so precious! Oliver and Christian are super fun characters! The beginning was a bit of a slogan and somewhat repetitive, but the second half was really fun to read and was definitely pulling the weight. I love the found-family vibes, it was so sweet! Overall, pretty enjoyable and would recommend!

Thank you to Hayden Stone, Xpresso Book Tours, and Netgalley for the ARC of In the Frame in exchange for an honest review. The premise of this one is really fun, I love fake dating and opposites attract, so I was really excited! Unfortunately, this did fall a bit flat for me, especially compared to Handle with Care. I didn't really find Matty or Florian very likeable, particularly Florian. While I don't mind an anti-hero, I am pretty sure that was not the author's intent when writing these characters. Matty is a bit whiny and obnoxious and Florian is really rude and was rude to service workers in chapter one! Unfortunately, that's not my jam. There was also a lot of telling rather than showing in this book. I also didn't love hkw stubborn both of them were about a point of contention in their relationship. It was a very frustrating read for me. I did LOVE the trapped in the elevator scene. The banter was really funny and flirty and I loved it! Unfortunately, it falls a bit flat after. It is very easy to read, even though some of the chapter endings feel really abrupt. I think if you're looking for a fast and cute romance, this could be for you.

I would like to thank NetGalley and Hayden Stone for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Handle with Care was a cute romance between a posh Brit who'd caught fortune on both sides of the proverbial silver spoon, and a serial-dating Vancouverite interested in making the most of his time abroad. Both find themselves vying for the permanent position available after their internship at a museum in London (England not Ontario) for the summer, and then (surprising no one) catching those sweet sweet feelings after spending loads of time together.

I wasn't a super fan of the narrative style, and I thought Dylan was…an interesting take. The museum plot was also a bit of a headscratcher, as Dylan and Will's workload was a lot to deal with for interns. I mean, where was mgmt for oversight? smh

Overall, this was a quick, lighthearted read, with a touch of rep and a bit of sexy spice, and a soft, sweet HEA we love to love.

3.75⭐️ I liked this one! Will and Dylan are very sweet together and I love how they became close so quick! Dylan, though, why were you so mean to someone you JUST MET? I mean, light spoiler, he does redeem himself in the end, but still. It just felt super judgy and weird, especially considering the way his character goes the rest of the book. Unfortunately, I do feel like the book suffers from not being a dual POV. I would have LOVED Will's perspective on the missing art and his relationship with Dylan. Overall, it was very fluffy and light. I enjoyed reading it!
