3.25⭐️ This one just felt pretty average. I gotta say, I'm not really getting the hype. The writing is repetitive (if I read "baby" one more time...) and overall not very good. Sentences don't make any sense at times and the povs get a bit muddled and I can't tell who is who. Kyran and Avi are both well-written characters with depth. Kyran is particularly well-written and I think the book handles his trauma relatively well. The beginning was weird for me. I don't really understand why they had to have the first four chapters set in high school, I think that the book kind of suffered for that because she just as easily could have had the characters aged up to college the whole time. The OnlyFans premise was a really interesting hook and it played out pretty much as expected, except ⚠️⚠️⚠️SPOILER⚠️⚠️⚠️ I don't think that Avi can actually be expelled for his OnlyFans page? He's a consenting adult, he wasn't mentioning the school or any of it's faculty or students, the only thing I could see is maybe some sort of demerit because if this is a private university it violated the code of conduct? Idk, that just didn't make sense to me. The shining star of this book was absolutely Kyran and his healing journey. By the end of the book he is a totally different person and it feels like such a natural progression. That's about it for this one. I definitely won't pick up another book by this author and probably won't reread this one.

I have to say, this one, while maybe not for me, was a nice change of pace. I really liked the slow and sweet love that Jack and Desmond had and the little family they shared with Parker and the other hockey guys. I just think this one was a little TOO slow for me. I was really feeling the slow-burn, but all the tension fizzled out kinda quickly. I was way more interested in Desmond's custody battle than the romance by the end of the book. I really liked how Parker was written, he felt like a real 10 year-old and not just a strange stand-in for a kid. I just wish the series ended with more of a bang, but this one was soft and sweet and simple.

I loved this one! It was so tender and sweet. Marcos and Nate are absolutely perfect for one another and I loved the cowboy romance aspect in the second half of the book! I really love how Mulder explored Marcos' trauma from the assault and how even if something didn't happen to you, it can still deeply affect you. Marcos is so well written, you can't help but root for him! Nate is so kind and understanding of Marcos' trauma and doesn't ever push for a reason why and I love that about him. I do really think they are perfectly matched and will be together long-term.

4.75⭐️ I cannot believe it's over!😓 I love the Puckboys so much! Leighton U and this series ending within two weeks of each other is a crime! I loved Lachie and Sam, but I'll admit I was hesitant about this pairing at first (I don't love that Sam knew Lachie as a literal child, but it's definitely not a grooming situation, so I digress), but they ended up blowing (😉😉) me away! They had such great chemistry and I love that hockey had an actual impact on the story rather than just being in the background. The Collective presence is really felt in this book and I'm so sad to see them go. All the endings feel like they're wrapped up neatly and I feel really satisfied, but still so sad! I think I'll have to read for Finley and James just to catch glimpses of the characters! I leave you with this my fine friends: "Cheer’o to being queer’o!
