anazaisei's Book Journey

[...] They think they're better than everybody else. It's just like those other new shiny AI iterations with their clean lines and error-replacement nets. Fuck you all.

Huh?? Is that a glitch in the AI or has that happened before? 🫪

It might have been explained previously, but how does Vrah have the power to make Carl's bombs ineffective and make the guards worship Emberus (as she claims in her note)?

Or is this an implication for the corruption behind the crawl?

That sweet moment between Carl and Donut? I needed that. Carl needs to get better at expressing how much he loves her!

“He just got it,” Miriam said. “I told him not to put it on, that it was a mistake. But he is stubborn. That’s what his name means.” Her voice broke, then. “He was always my stubborn little boy.”

So, native Italian here: Prepotente meaning is something closer-to-but-not-quite "bully" and not at all "stubborn"

It still fits with the character, but it does NOT mean stubborn

My heart is BREAKING for Donut now they've brought Ferdinand into the mix. Burn the system, Carl. Burn it all down!!!
