Honestly there’s parts of both Peeta and Gale that I like and dislike.

I think Gale was right in his talk with Katinss about not running away from the districts and thinking about the other families in 12. He calls her out for only thinking of herself and her loved ones and not how her actions would impact the district.

I dislike Peeta and Gale for how they treat Katniss in regards to the other boy. Gale for shaming Katniss for what she has had to do to survive and Peeta for making Katniss feel guilty.

I will say, I do adore Peeta as a character and I think it’s important for a character, especially a romantic interest, to have flaws. It’s just human, and it makes sense how he feels.

I feel like I used to despise Gale, and I will say he annoy me quite a bit but at this point of the series, I think he’s a bit over-hated. I’ll have to re-read mockingjay to confirm this opinion tho…
