    Thoughts from 70%/ bad marketing?

Me: "oh, murder would easily solve this issue!" Then I remembered this is YA and cozy, so no murder 😅 ...And then I googled it and found out this is not marketed as YA, but as an adult cozy fantasy or even a romantasy??? Wtf?? Yeah, there is a romance in here, but I would NOT call it a romantasy! The romance is not the main focus of the story! But most importantly: how come this is not YA?? I mean, respectfully, this kind of plot is only excused in YA. As in, you're not supposed to think too deeply because the plot is full of holes.

Seriously, this is why some people will hate a book. This is bad marketing. It's a clash on the readers' expectations. YA books can be great, but if someone is expecting an adult fantasy book, they'll probably be disappointed if it reads as YA.

Sorry for the rant. I'm mostly enjoying this book, but AS AN YA COZY FANTASY.
