I said it during Bride and I will say it again, Ali Hazelwod please wrote more Onegaverse books and please do not fall back into your roots from the start. Between Bride, Mate, and Deep End, those are my 3 favorites.

my absolute favorite part of this book is that we got Koen's thoughts at the start of nearly every chapter.

I liked Misery as a side character and I liked the Northwest pack too. if this book has plot holes, I fell right through them and didn't notice. The spice and banter chef's kiss

I really enjoyed this, althought it felt a tad longer than necessary.

I loved the dynamic between our MMCs and the growth 💚

this was interesting and filled with twists & turns, I ever found myself a little emotional by the end.

However, at least in the e-book there were spelling errors and grammar errors, which surprised me for an author who has written this many books. those always take me out of the experience a little bit.

I didn't see most of the twists coming which is always a bonus 💚

I liked this and it gave me all the vibes I want from Shari Lapena. I didn't guess the killer until late in the book which is always a bonus for me.

Also, Shari Lapena is the queen of short chapters and that's why I normally love these books. They are so fast paced and easy to get through.

I love an ass of an MMC apparently because Tommy, that man 🥵 the only reason this wasnt a full 4 star for me is because quite honestly some of things Jenna and Tommy do to each other and say to each other are extremely messed up.

I do LOVE Tommy's redemption though 💚 and the sports bra scene 🫣obsessed.

I am excited for Emmett's book ♥️

Elsie Silver just fills my soul with so much joy in every book I read by her 🧡

this does start slower than her books normally do, but the 2nd half is worth it.

Also, ex boyfriends dad 🥵🥵🥵 and Clyde had me laughing out loud several times.

Berlin Wick, I was unaware of your game and I am sat now ♥️

this is very much so insta lust like to the max, which normally I do not enjoy. However, this was a fun, steamy, sword crossing, why choose, novella about how freaking firefighters....so a little instalust, no problem.

I really liked Wade & Jasper, they were my favorite 🧡

Big fan. For those of you who know my reading tastes, you know that I typically like romantasy books or at least books with some element of romance, and this doesn't really have that.

This first book is very character driven, like there are a lot of characters, but it is easy to tell them apart.

Even though this was a longer book, I personally felt like it went by quickly and there was a good balance of short and long chapters.

I am obsessed with these characters even the ones that annoy me like Jezal major eye roll. I love that we got The Bloody Nine at the end, because say one thing about Alex, say she loves an unhinged, murderous main character.

Also if you didn't like the physical version I 100% suggest the audiobook. The narrator for these books is one of the best narrators I have ever listened to.
