Quite a cute story, and I loved the fact they were friends first. It was a tiny bit cringy at parts, but not too bad.
I did struggle with the audiobook though. I don't normally mind male/female povs with male/female narrators, and I don't normally mind when the female narrator puts on a deeper voice for the male character and vice versa. Except in this case. Rosie was narrated by a very American narrator, and when she did her 'Lucas' voice it was also very American. Lucas, however was narrated by someone with a strong Spanish accent. Lucas is Spanish so this makes sense. But it was so jarring switching between the two, as the voices made each Lucas seem like a completely different character.

This is the definition of a cozy mystery. Intriguing and captivating, but not really too suspenseful or thrilling. An easy listen that felt a bit like a warm hug.
