To all my series people who believe that "you gotta wait til the second book then it gets good." What series do you fully stand behind when you say this?
I'm on the "If it's not good by the end of the second book, then it's not a good series at all" train. For those people, what's your limit?
Are you more strict? More generous?
What are your thoughts?

academic rivals to lovers
the burning desire to beat the person sitting across the desk. sharp dialogue, academic settings and that specific tension where a "fight" is actually a "flirt."

Hi all! I'm trying to find more creators worth watching on Youtube as I've moved away from other social media platforms and want more long form content. I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on youtubers who are doing book deep dives/reviews, giving recommendations, etc. I'm super into fantasy and sci-fi, though I'm open to diving into other genres if the book is well-written and fun. (I also would prefer to watch creators with progressive views that create a diverse, inclusive space)

I have never really tracked the books I own but recently my wife and I updated are living trust and realized that the inheritor of my book collection is going to have no clue of the value some of the books are worth. I have started looking around for software to help me catalog. The one rule I have been trying to stick to is that I would prefer to stay away from subscriptions. Want to buy something so that I can just leave a password with no fear of the subscription turning off.
I looked at ICollect everything but was not a fan for various reasons. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it. Trying to avoid building a spreadsheet.
