This was honestly one of the best paranormal romances I've read! It was an excellent Beauty and the Beast retelling. I liked that the romance was a slow burn, and the banter between Clara and Raleigh was amusing. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft and lovable Raleigh turned out to be. I seriously loved him! The vampire lore was also great. Plus, the mystery behind the famine in Orlfen was intriguing. I was truly baffled by what Clara's father was doing. The action really picked up in the last few chapters, and the ending was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this if you like vampires and fun romances with a touch of fantasy.
