I'm a big fan of Hozier and his last album Unreal Unearth was inspired by Dante's divine comedy. So now I feel like via Katabasis R. F. Kuang is very indirectly explaining some Dante-Hozier lore to me which makes me see the songs in a whole new way (since I haven't read Dante). This is so niche somehow but I always love finding connections like that!
