hi still very new to this app but i want to know if im the only one who will dnf a book for the smallest thing,, most of the books i listen are through audiobooks and if the narrators voice is slightly too high pitched or the characters are annoying ( constantly saying theyāre small or just whiny) i immediately stop reading them. soooo Iām quite curious about what makes you all dnd a book hehehe (:

An introduction to the Romance genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

17 years after I read it for the first time I decided to read it again. Let's see if I still enjoy it!

I decided to listen to this audiobook from Emily Henry because I loved her writing in Funny Story (and the narrator Julia Whelan) so I wanted to read more of her books. And also because the movie adaptation is coming out in a few months. Itās been totally worth it so far!!

I am looking for new book recs! Iām stuck in a place where Iām reading booktok heavily influenced books & itās getting really boring/repetitive. I want to find new authors & diversify my reading. I had not noticed just how lacking it was until recently. I am in the mood for witchy/ romance fall books (:

I've got a question for yall: whenever you read a book, do you prefer to try to guess the major plot or just go with the vibe?
What i mean is after id read "don't let the forest in" i noticed that many people just seemed to guess the plots that id never ever have. More precisely, whenever i read a book i almost never try to guess what is going to happen later as i like the WOW i get from it. Maybe not even that I don't try to guess, but I don't see the obvious things that everyone else seems to see - i feel like those little facts are just not important to me, so my head doesn't ever register them.
Does anyone else feel the same? Or maybe you're reading even differently?

Hello friends š
In the spirit of the month of October, what book would you wanna get buried with? I'm talking a book you love so much that you need to bring it in the after life?

I feel like Iāve spent the majority of this book annoyed at Elaine and everyone coddling her. Does her character improve or am I going to remain frustrated?

Started my reread of this today, and I'm buddy reading with my sister! I love reading these books and watching the movies. They aren't the greatest things ever made, but they're a lot of fun. Just started the first biology scene!
