Overall I enjoyed this book, but felt like it was a bit of a slog to get through at times. I liked that the characters were morally grey, but they kind of fell flat for me? I wasn't particularly attached to any of the characters. I do like though, how political the book is and isn't an enemy-to-lovers romantasy, which I've seen it being described as 😂 I'll definitely continue the series sometimes because I heard that the story gets so much better after the first book

Whether it's sci-fi or fantasy, you like a big series. You love when a book says 1 of 5/10/50+. Is the reading order of the series hotly debated? Is there a wiki chart to show how the books connect? Even better. Come spend some time in these worlds.

Does anyone have any recs for books narrated by animals??
It's one of my favorite things to read about and I was curious if yall felt the same way and had any recs?
I feel like all of Erin Hunter's series and Tui T. Sutherland are really fun examples but also books like The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate and Watership Down by Richard Adam's!
It always make for an interesting story and I love being able to read from such unique perspectives! <33
