Did you know Fin is tall? And redheaded? Maybe my biggest grievance with this book was the amount of times he was referred to as “the tall witch,” “the redhead,” “the tall redhead,” or “the tall redheaded witch.”

This one… was full of things to get us to the next book but umtimatley feels like it could have been divided and put in books 1 & 3 entirely.

There are times when I’m thrilled for an easy-paced, smut-free, witchy book. And then the rest of the time I’m annoyed at the weird writing. A lot of unnecessary side descriptions had me feeling like the author was consistently trying to explain a movie scene onto a book page.
