this connected so many dots for me. about myself, my upbringing, and my partner. insightful for sure and so well written. i thought some parts were repetitive which was disappointing because the space could have been used for deep diving in certain areas, but overall i really enjoyed this and will likely come back to it every now and then.

the premise, golden. but honestly this book didn’t hit the way i thought it would which was disappointing. i wasn’t attached to the story but was desperately trying to be. in the end it was predictable and just seemed severely unrealistic.
