Mine's Tatiana Maslany. I think my rating for the Hunger Games trilogy would have been slightly lower if she wasn't the one narrating tbh. HM: Luke Thompson. HIGHLY SUGGEST listening to audiobooks narrated by him.

"Luzia watched her fade upward into the gloom like a dying spark" DAMN that's a good way to describe how dejected DoƱa Valentina is at the start of chapter 10

As someone who spends far too much time on ao3, I'm looking for ideas for tracking the fics I read. I've probably read around 15 book-length fics this year but they don't count towards my reading goal on here or storygraph. What do you all do?

oh good god this book hurt me. the last few chapters were read through tears. a lot of them.
the narration was curt and distant at times but in a way i've never felt more seen and heard by a story before. the short chapters were easy to read and had a great pacing.
read this if you have mommy issues like me x
or maybe just read it because it has a message that everyone can relate to.

Love StoryGraph to the moon and back but I've seen this site on TikTok, saw my mutual Bri (@bribwriter) talking about Pagebound so I had to see what was going. I do love the layout it is adorable! Hopefully more of the indie books I read will be readily available. Mainly I'm on StoryGraph but also here to hang until an app comes along.āØ

Read this on a family holiday. My Grandma said that my Grandad loved this book when he read it and I've been desperate to connect with anything he loved since he died. While it's definitely a product of it's time (hellooo sexism), I can see why he liked it. The story (though simple) is engaging and I really enjoyed the ending, but for me the characters and story lacked depth.

A fantasy universe created by Sir Terry Pratchett, Discworld is a flat planet balanced on the backs of four elephants, which in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle. These are comedic novels that parody traditional fantasy tropes. All books can be read as standalones.
