kate you are SICK and TWISTED for making me love tim halloran this much!!!!!! i looooved the musical theater, taylor swift, and literary references throughout the book. it read like some of the most finely crafted fanfiction, but you will not hear me complain!!! it also just proved that i need to go to ireland immediately. ugh, cowboys are so last year. give me musician romances!!!!!!! anyways, see you tomorrow h*zier. i love you.

writing this with fresh tears in my eyes while the tears on my cheeks dry. the epilogue touched me so deeply as someone who has loved music and books my whole life. paige and liam’s story was so beautiful and makes me truly believe that i deserve a beautiful love story of my own. music, both vocal and instrumental, can convey the deepest of emotions, and knowing that i take a song and feel it one way, while someone across the world feels it another is what’s so beautiful about art. this will be a forever recommend book. oh, also!! welcome to the baby girl club liam!!!!! thank you to st. martin’s press for the ARC!!!!

what does it say about me if i was rooting for lauren and junior to forgive each other every time because junior is just a misunderstood bad boy??????? teddy hamilton is the best in the business for a reason!!!!!!! listen to the audiobook so you can hear him say good girl :-)

3.5 stars!! I think there was a little too much going on and the timing was off, but I enjoyed the journey!! not every book has to be the next great literature classic, and i think dom-com is exactly what it was supposed to be. grant, grant, grant. you and i are a match made in fiction heaven. also, apparently a girl can’t have an original experience anymore??? rae is an eldest daughter who loves musicals, has a crafty hobby and a people pleasing/caring complex, and she just wants someone to tell her what to do for a change. i guess my carefully crafted personality is unoriginal and i need to reevaluate everything ive ever known. thank you to Forever and Grand Central Publishing for the ARC!!
