Personally, the perfect audiobook speed for me is 1.5x but when I’m really in the zone I like to go to 2x. My husband’s is a strict 1x and I have a coworker who only listens to her audiobooks on 2x speed! I was just curious to see what other people’s perfect audiobook speeds are!

How do you do it? I'm doing it right now as a challenge to myself to juggle two stories. I think for me it's more of a discomfort with the unfinished... Or possibly the different vibes from the books that makes it uncomfortable for me. What I want to know is... How many books have you read simultaneously and what, if any, was your limit? I'm curious!

It’s been so hard to find good book recs because of the booktok takeover (no offense if thats your style lol) I just don’t really like spice but it seems like all the fantasy and romance books now are full of it. I don’t mind a little here and there but if you know any books with fantasy and romance elements without crazy spice I would love to check them out!!

This will be purely based on vibes. If you want a more accurate answer to something that might fit your taste also tell me what genre you'd like the book to be and why you love that item specifically. The item probably won't be mentioned in the recommended book, especially if something specific.
Your favourite item can't be a book, but it can be related to books, for example, a nook, a library decoration, bookmark. Other than this, it can be literally anything that you have in your room and you particularly love.
I'll start: my favourite thing in my room is the deer tooth I bought at the Celtic festival I go to almost every year (it's completely cruelty free, they just find some bones when on hikes, identify them and sell them).

Hi all,
I love the readalong lists! And, I'm wondering if it would be possible to regularly include a non-fiction option! I somehow find that it's much easier to find fiction recs than non-fiction -- do others feel the same? Why is it like this? And if not, where are you getting your recs!
Also, lmk if I'm in the wrong place w this question!
EDIT: Wow, thank you all for your thoughts! I will check out some of the reading quests. It would be nice to see what non-fic are frequently getting read / added to TBR lists as well!
