More than half way through and I just feels like another haunting of hill house for me. It is a bit better because of the family dynamics. I at least feel protective of Danny. I just think that I’m losing a ton of tension and thrill in the audiobook again, but I fit in as much reading as I can with limited time.

Good book. I felt that the main crew of characters were developed well and all had their time to shine thanks to the chapter pov structure. An entertaining read overall.

Make the comments look like we're working in a book store but none of us have had any proper training

Hello everybody! Does anyone have any library books they’re currently reading, have borrowed or is in line for?? I just came home from the library where I borrowed Good girl, bad blood and placed an order on Gideon the ninth and bury our bones in the midnight soul. I’m super excited for both! BOUBITMS will come quickly, as there wasn’t any list on that one, but unfortunately Gideon the ninth has quite a long list and won’t be able available before at least a month… 🤧 but good thing I have so much else to read!
Happy reading and I hope yall don’t run out of renewals 🎉

Just finished part one. I (obviously) love the writing style and how he adds thoughts and subtexts in parentheses: it makes it feel as if I’m thinking the story rather than reading it. On the other hand—and this may be because I’ve already seen the movie—the story itself has yet to really capture me.

hi! i'd like to know if i'm the only one who feels this way 💔 i love to buy books secondhand because i'm not really the choosy type that wants the pages to be crisp and those kinds of things. i like to save money but still enjoy the feeling of holding and reading a physical book. but my gosh, it is so difficult for me to actually decide if i want to buy the book's physical copy or not. i check the reviews of a book and if i see one bad review i start to hesitate 😓 idk how to fix this "habit" of mine. pls help lol.
