It was dark and funny, the authors descriptions were great. It was a wild ride

A good follow up/second book in the series and met my expectations. It has a good intricate mystery and was a fun read.
I have mixed feelings about Kylene and Dawson since he's a FBI agent and she's in high school, while they'd be chte together the age gap is yikes.
At least AJ not the only love interest.

Can AJ please just move on already? I think the ship has sailed and she doesn't even seem all that into him really.
AJ has two options really A) move on B) die or get shipped of to boarding school so he leaves us alone

A sapphic hamlet that is full of anguish and bitter contempt. Its a gothic ghost story that's full of heart and grief in this tragedy. Its unapologetically full of rage and it keeps you anticipating what comes next.
I did find the pacing a bit off at times but it made up for it in the end.
