  • Specific recommendations of short engaging books

I think lately I discovered how I like to read multiple books at once and that is by reading a long book at home and a short book that I carry around, I have plenty of big books on my shelves but I realized I don't have many short books. So im in the search of some of them.

    My requierements are:

    • no more of 300/350 pages
    • Character studies maybe, I don't want a really complex plot
    • Fast paced or at least easy to follow as I will read this when im not home
    • I don't have a preferred genre but my confort zone are fantasy, historical fiction or contemporary/classic narrative. (with a bit of romance but not the main genre)

Pagebound do your magic, I hope some of you get interesting recommendations

    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

A me problem? Maybe because i didnt pay enough attention to it, but i didnt liked this book at all.

I didnt care for any of the characters, all of them were really annoying and excentric in a weird creepy way not in a fun way. and im fine with annoying characters as long as i understand why they are like that or if i can empathise with them but i didnt care for anything anyone did

The thing is that the first 20 percent is good and exposes a really good premise but when marek arrives to the palace everything becomes really boring and just… bad.

Definetly not for me, it made me uncomfortable in a way i didnt enjoyed at all, i finished it really quickly because i had already read like a 85 % and i wasnt going to dnf it at that point
