I turned 19 a month ago and I feel like Iâm entering the world of identity crisis yay! Like i feel i want to do a milion things but i feel to dumb to do any so i end up doing nothing and also feel dumb. I want some recs but iâ e looked them up and all of the general existencialism books are like middle aged man who is misunderstood by the world and who is pretty misoginistic and honestly Iâm not in the mood for that.
I dont want a straight up philosophy book but something that makes me feel more understood or that fills me with hope and joy and tears. Fantasy is also allowed.
If you have been in my situation or something similar tell me what made your happier

I want to read more body horror, thereâs something in it that fascinates me. I also want great written books if possible
my definition of body horror includes vampires, werewolfs, gore, weird obscene descriptions and all of that stuff
Iâ e seen recomended Buffalo hunter hunter a lot, is that good? Like is it gorey ??
Thanks in advance!!

I dnf/Pause a LOT of books, i'ts got to a point that's like almost 50/50 if i do finish a book or i pause it. In my defense, some of the next cases are not in a permanent dnf and eventually i'll get back to them, but for now they're in hibernation.
This year i finished 11 books (12 in a couple days cause i'm about to finish my current read) and i dnf'd/paused 9 witch are ( don't kill me)
The foxhole court : TBH i was getting bored and my current read is too good so i didn't wanted to pick it up, i might finish it as i was already more than halfway through but honestly it was pretty crappy. I get the appeal and why some love this book but i'ts a bit to surreal to me, though the characters were interesting so far.
Emma: Similar case, i started East of Eden while reading emma and i wanted my full attention to EoE, i't was good though the main problem was that it is very long but i'll finish it hopefully before next year.
My brilliant friend: I think i wasn't in the right mood because the book i'm currently reading is really similar theme-wise and i'm loving it so i'll give it another try once i have the time
The books i've read a chapter and not continued for mainly time management reasons are:
The books i DNF'D for actually hate reasons are actually just two:
Interview with the vampire: i was very exited to read this because i loved the show, and i knew the book was very diferent to the show's version but idk i didn't expected it to be so bad :( like the character's are very plain i feel like and it frustrates me because i wanted to like it as much as the tv show but i don't think so guys
Never Let me go: Guys i've read like 50 pages and seriously i don't get the appeal, should i finish it or what because idk i feel very underwhelmed by it i thought i was going to love it but it's just very mid.
thanks for reading if you want to comment on any of these tell me or if you want to share some of you'r dnf's you absolutely can!

Do you have any books/sagas that you would recommend that have a similar vibe to Game of thrones? âșïž
