I recently read The Traveling Cat Chronicles, and I think the book is very cute and unique for it uses the perspective of the cat.
Since uniqueness is subjective, is there any fiction books that you consider as unique personally? Why?

Were there any books you read this year that really surprised you? Maybe it was outside of your normal genres, something you went into totally cold, or an author you decided to read on a whim?
Mine would be The Knight and the Moth. From someone who never read a romantasy book before I was FLOORED with how much I enjoyed it and it was one of my favorite reads all year!

Does anyone here want to try to get into a new genre in 2026? What is it?
I am trying to get into more japanese/korean literature next year, and for those who love them, would you mind recommending me some? I prefer something light and short like 200-300ish pages. Thank you!

One of what I love most from tfota series is the "fairy tale" inside the story. Like in this one the story about the troll king. It gives such an immersive fantasy experience.
