This was such an amazing and wonderful sequel to a story that meant so much to be when I was younger. And still now, this novel continues to mean so much to me. I will love Ari and Dante forever

Having a non-linear narrative structure doesn't always work, especially when it's being done to justify a character's actions sometimes becoming a crutch. This is not the case for Vicious. I loved the structure it was engaging to go back and forth and see how we came to where we will end up with Victor and Eli, especially with how our depictions of them both change and how they have developed through the years. I was buzzing!

I was so not prepared for how this book would absolutely enchant me. I am alwasy skeptical about romantasy books, I am so picky but this was phenomenal. I love that from the very first page you know that this book is going to be about profound and devout bonds. Every single relationship was compelling and well-explored, they each held there weight and nothing felt pointless or unnecessary. The prose was strong and beautiful it truly felt as though I was reading a myth in itself and the epilogue completely adds to that, it was such a powerful way to end this novel.

My one slight issue is that I felt that the plot points were almost TOO quick. Each issue that would arise would be dealth with in the next chapter after it was brought up (usually at the end of the last) at times I was happy for this though! And overall, it didn't impact me much while reading.

I also love the way that everything tied in together. A part of me was a little worried that they would be forgotten or left to the side as unimportant but everything tied up neatly together, not in a bow but a subtle way like snow covering the ground.
