I'm absolutely loving this so far - it's literally my dream book. The different scenarios they find themselves in are so imaginative and beautifully described, which is especially impressive considering how short the chapters are. I’m also finding it surprisingly funny and actually laughing out loud in certain spots. From what I’d heard about this book, I thought it would be more dramatic in vibe, but I’m glad it’s not taking itself too seriously. I also like how the information isn't spoon-fed to the reader, but revealed naturally through their conversations. Super easy to read too - at least for me. It honestly feels like it was made for the way I think.

I'm genuinely surprised how many people have never read this book before. It was assigned reading for us in high school (eastern european). In the comments you can say where you're from and if you've read it before (or if it's common school reading).

I've gone absolutely FERAL waiting to read this book and I am so excited!!
I just know it will break my heart and ruin me and I can't wait.

This book absolutely wrecked me. I spent the last hour of reading it crying. My glasses fogged up so much that I had to take them off, so the last two chapters are a blurry mess in my mind, as intended, I think.
The Epilogue was very sweet 🥹 and somehow, Haymich has become even more of a favorite character, even though he was already my fav before starting this book. I also absolutely loved Maysilee, and their scenes together.
Can't wait to revisit the trilogy after I've sufficienly recovered from SOTR.

I used to be a physical-only girlie, but I've changed my tune.
