From the moment I started this book, I knew I would love it. The characters feel authentic real people who just want to be heard. Anyone who grew up in a small town will instantly recognize the world Suzanne Young builds: the divide between the haves and the have-nots, and the few who manage to see people for who they truly are.
Paradise Coast is a little bit Outer Banks, a little bit The Outsiders and entirely its own. It’s an easy, thrilling read that pulls you in with its coastal setting, emotional depth, and characters you can’t help but root for.
Thank you NetGalley for the early read! And to Simon and Schuster Children's Publishing. Coming February 2026!
