Cutesy, easy, standard Ali Hazelwood fare. I think the narrator was a bit intense for such a light subject matter but that could just be my opinion.

I absolutely love Twilight and was soooo beyond excited to read Midnight Sun, however it is taking me a while to get through it. Edward's point of view gives a lot of clarity for sure. I think I am trying to savor the "first read" moment subconsciously but half way there now!

Are we bigger fans of the miniseries or the film? At first I loved the film but I recently watched the miniseries and I realised how much they nailed the humour and characterisation. Now I fear the film slightly pales in comparison- itâs still enjoyable and has many merits but the miniseries is far more faithful whereas the film imo is trying harder to pander to what they think modern audiences want by leaning into the yearning and the romance. Lmk your thoughts.

I thoght long and hard if I wanted to dive into the SJM-verse buttt several accounts onâ¨the internet ⨠swayed me and here I am in the Beginning of TOG and my doubts are slapping me in the face like days old fish đ Donât get me wrong, I looooove tropes but as an adult I do have an extremely hard time reading stories that follow 18 year olds. I just canât believe you were THE best assassin at what 14?!?! Fuck off đ is it somehow illegal to write idk a 25 year old FMC? What in the DiCaprio!
