Is it the colour? The similarity to your real self? A representation of your favourite genre?
I’ll go first: I got drunk and decided to use the rice bowl avatar, because ”food for thought” was the greatest (and most amusing) thing I could come up with.

no judgement zone here! i’m always curious about this and what made the book so bad to someone
mine is between if he had been with me and a thousand boy kisses. these books i was so excited to read but when i did, i absolutely hated them. i cringed way too hard during both of them. i know they are supposed to be heartbreaking, but it’s hard to be hurt by a book that made me want to chuck it across the room because of how bad it was

I didn’t expect this book to hit as hard as it did, especially the moments with her mother’s sickness. It was a beautiful example of how grief can both bring people together and tear them apart. If you’re thinking about reading this, I would recommend!

I'm intrigued as to the journey that this book takes me on but I cannot lie it is taking some time to get used to the writing style. More specifically I think the format of it all and how they're journal entries. I'm sticking with it of course but I was just wondering if I was the only one having difficulty with this aspect of the book

I loved it. I listened to the audiobook, and Florence Howard did a brilliant job of bringing the story to life as the narrator.
