Damn… now I feel like I have to read The Good Samaritan first. I might need to put this book on pause until I know Laura’s story.
What do you guys say??

I find it interesting that until this point, the narrative has been mainly following characters other that Dantes thus mirroring the story. Dantes during those chapters wasn't necessarily in control eventhough everything revolved around him, so the narrative also didn't follow him but rather those who were in control.

If you're even a little sensitive to violence to animals - do not read this book.
