An introduction to the Horror genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

For me it's the Wimpy Kid Series. I bought like 8 books till I was 11 and now they're taking up space. I keep them even though I don't read them anymore because they were the first "real" books I transitioned into from Tinkle (which was like a little comic/magazine). So now I can't bear to part with them.
Looking back at Gregg Heffley as a 21 year old, I can tell you that boy is a certified sociopath and my boy Rowley deserves better. Justice for Rowley đ I'm not usually the one to advocate for beating up a kid (having been a kid who has tasted quite a few lashings. Don't worry guys. I turned out fine. I think. I'm not sure. Maybe not. It's a cultural thing) but Gregg could have used some.
Some other "real" books that I read, and I think I was the only one who read them were the Secrets of Droon Series. I never bought them but during the library period in my school, I'd devour them. There was a magic carpet. And a rainbow staircase to another world.
Anyway. What are some books you don't read anymore but refuse to part with?
