    I remember reading this and hating it as a teenager. Now as an adult, with a few more years of nuance and wisdom behind me, I can say I like it a tiny bit more but overall still find this a mediocre piece of literature.

    As a writer there are a few stunning descriptions I’d love to emulate in my own work but it’s far and wide to find.

    Also for a 115 page book, I have no idea how a three hour movie/musical was made
not a lot happens lol

    The history nerd in me loved the parallels very much!!

    I think the ending was perfect/made sense. I also agree with the general underwhelming short lived plotline of the trifecta.

    But I don’t want to talk about that. I wanna talk about Rin and Kitay because their bond (not the anchor, just their genuine bond) is so well written. They are the definition of platonic soulmates and it makes the ending bittersweet but I just love the small moments where we can see their care for one anotherđŸ„Č
