This upcoming Tuesday, September 1st, we’re starting the unofficial buddy read for Anna Karenina!
Here’s the people who said they were interested/might join in: @rosiereads420 @RattyRae @waterhen @Mystico @Sofia_Camila @mickeyreads @visiblypossible @myacar
Please feel free to join us whether you’re on my list or not!
Our plan was to read about 25 pages—or about 8 chapters… they’re short—per day. At that rate the book will take us a month. (Please read at your own pace if you don’t like my proposed timeframe! You can still comment and yap with us!) I’m super terrible about posting regularly for buddy reads, but I’ll at least try to comment on others’ posts!
##Tips for Buddy reading! (Mostly because I had no idea this feature existed until recently and I want to share it in case you don’t either!😆)
To see activity from your friends in the buddy read:
See you Tuesday! 😌

Hi all!
I found out last night through super special and super secret bookseller circles that Barnes and Noble won’t be stocking Georgia Stone’s Roommate Rule.
I urge everyone to try get a hold of this book! It’s great and the perfect balance of romance and comedy. The whole story is wonderful and it sucks that there isn’t a massive demand for it in such a big retailer :(

Unfortunately I think I’ve read this at a not so great time/mood and really struggled to care about Alice’s feelings or the overall romance.
The writing does seem to drone on and on and felt a tad repetitive at times, however there are some beautiful metaphors and descriptions of love/feelings that did stick with me. Just a shame they’re so far and wide in between prose that gets dragged out.

Just saw a review on goodreads for this book and it simply stated:
“A better title would be Word Salad.”
Unfortunately that is how I feel reading this…
