Post from the I’m Glad My Mom Died forum
First of all, I didn't expect Jennette to actually be the voice actor of the book, but it was the most pleasant surprise. Like this, the book had a much bigger impact on me. The title of the book was a perfect match to the biography, because even though she very much loved her mother, that woman would have been the end of her in the long run. Maybe this is one of the hardest things to everybody, to accept that the people who you look up to and love can do you the most harm. Kudos to Jenette to being able to write this masterpiece of a biography.
