Hi everyone! I love reading romance, fantasy, mystery and comedy (preferably all together), but most of the popular titles I gravitate towards utilize the same trope - having the main characters oblivious to or doubting that the other character is into them. It often goes like this: “They only care because … not because they like me”. I would love to see a character with a high-self esteem who wouldn’t even doubt that someone is into them - someone who by default thinks that everyone in the room is attracted to them (think Alexis Rose from Schitt’s Creek). Does anyone have any recommendations of books with a main character like this or where the mutual attraction isn’t doubted? I’d love to explore!!!

So far I don’t get the hype of the book… I’ve read books that I devoured in 1-3 days, but this one feels a bit slow idk…
