Pretty mid for King. Would have made a really great short story perhaps but it didn’t have enough meat on its bones for me (pardon the pun) 😎

This was okay. A little unnecessarily convoluted. One too many storylines perhaps? I didn’t really care about the Kat & Jeff romance and felt the last few pages were far too rushed considering all the information that gets revealed.

Though I thoroughly enjoyed the MC’s voice and perspective, it just wasn’t enough for me. I need a little more plot in my reading. I guess you could say the book never really… takes off ✈️🥁
