    Great Expectations
    4.5
    Enjoyment: 4.0Quality: 4.5Characters: 4.5Plot: 4.0

I read this for AP Literature in high school and I'm so glad they made us read it. It's not something I could have gotten through myself, simply because it's so long and a bit hard to read (only because of the difference in language/vocabulary of the time). But I really enjoyed this book. Analyzing and writing about it for school really solidified the meaning for me and I was able to truly appreciate how well-crafted it is. Every character brought something different to the story and they were so fleshed out they felt like real people, and the way Pip's journey unfolds felt realistic and painfully but beautifully human.
