Guys, who is your favourite author and why? Also name his/her few books you love
Mine is Roald Dahl cause of his interesting, quirky way of writing and his stories never fail to fascinate me. I love James and The Giant Peach and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

Alrighty nerds, we're near the end of 2025
What's been your absolute favorite book(s) of the year?
Mine is The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez...Genuinely the most lyrical and beautiful story I've ever read. Picked it up in April and I still think about it daily
I'm picky on what I give 5 stars, but I did not need to second guess my rating at all
Honorable mentions are Legendborn by Tracy Deonn The Corruption of Hollis Brown by K. Ancrum The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White đ„°đ„°
Please share any book recs for the start of my 2026 tbr đđ

What is your go-to, actually working, technique that gets you out of a reading slump, something out of re-reading a book or a fast-paced thriller (because that's mine đ)?

idk if this is appropriate here or not but i love how many people comment on the things i comment on here! it feels so nice to be apart of a community that actually loves reading and isn't here for egoistical (?) reasons. the layout is also so so much better and easier to read than goodreads
