HEYY! Let me ask you, do you always read one book and that book only at a time, or multiple (like me)? Even if I tried, I really just can't stick to only one reading option. I tend to have a few books of different genres in my "currently reading" pile at once (3-5) and that keeps me motivated and consistent, because I can just pick up the book I'm the most in the mood for. Though I haven't met or seen that many other people like this, I've even had friends say that they cannot do that because they would lose focus, but for me it's just so natural, like doing multiple projects at once (sure it takes way longer to finish them all haha). I don't really have a problem with this habit of mine, I just wonder if there's people like me out there!

So I was looking at my profile and my jaw DROPPED because excuse me?!? I’m ONE book away from completing my reading goal for the year?!? What the heck?????

I picked my goal this year off of what I read the year before. I managed 62 totalllll for the 2025 year, so I didn’t think at allllll that I would surpass 66 this year?! I did read a handful of graphic novels, which significantly bumped up my reading count, and I’m pretty sure I’ve been prioritizing reading more this year, so those were some unexpected things.

How do you decide your reading goal? Is it random, based on something, or just your favourite number?

Ive been trying to choose between three books to start reading after I just finished a series and I cannot come to a decision 🥹 book 1 is The Way Back by Gavriel Savit, book 2 is Curious Tides by Pascale Ladelle and book 3 is Coffeeshop In An Alternate Universe by C.B. Lee. Please help me choose🥹🥹 they all sound really good and I need to escape reality SOON🙏
