I love this too much 😂😂 I love how the vibe is still cozy but you can still feel the urgency of their situation. Really happy that I picked up the second volume too 🥺

I had a hard time getting into this story, especially since Kiela is a little unlikeable in the beginning. After starting and then ignoring it for quite a while (wanted to read it for the readalong originally) I gave it another chance and now I couldn't put it down. It felt like a warm hug. Even though the plot feels a little 'unimportant' at times, I loved the slow paced life, how they researched spells, made friends and opened up to a new life that was so completely different than their time at the capital and the library. I'm glad I gave it another chance and I am thinking of also picking up The Enchanted Greenhouse?

Honestly, I'm like 2/5 of the way through and I'm genuinely wondering what is the rest of the book gonna be about. Like we're already at the 3rd year I think, stuff is going crazy and I still have over 300 pages left. What is supposed to happen in those 300 pages???
