Post from the Blood Suckers forum
I would like to recommend to add A Cruel Thirst by Angela Montoya It's about a young, recently turned vampire who has go work together with a vampire huntress because of bigger circumstances (a common enemy haha)! It's set in the early 20th century I think and in a spanish speaking country, but I am not sure which one anymore though. But I really enjoyed it and I think it fit in right in here:3

maias_bookshelf commented on poonwithplot's review of Under the Oak Tree: Volume 1 (The Novel)
So. It wasn't what I was expecting. Under the Oak Tree is a novel based off a Webcomic of the same name. I checked out the comic online via trial- thought it was cute as heck, picked up the special edition of the novel (it's absolutely stunning, btw) and dove right in.
GIRL. I got way more than bargained for??? I truely didn't think it was going to jump in the way it did. The comic was giving PG- this was smut. Dub/Non Con, Body Betrayal, All-They-Do-Is-Smash, Smut. Normally I'm like okay- I'm down with it, but YA'LL. I wanted a fantasy outta this so bad.
I really wish I could get into a more in depth review but it truely felt like nothing at all happened. I'm probably going to read volume 2 and hope there is a real plot here, but goodness. I enjoyed it enough to pass the time, and the special edition is beautiful enough for the 2☆s.
Anyone who knows what this is about will likely enjoy it wayyyy more than me. If I knew it was going to be ALL-SPICE-NO-SLICE I could have just liked it more for what it was.

I’m loving this so far! Finn’s dynamic with his nieces is perfect and Millie’s changing perception of Finn already! I can’t wait to see how this all goes for them

Loved this so much! My first book from Lea Melcher and most definitely not the last! It was so much fun and I loved the characters, all the cats and the plot was fun too! It was super silly at times, but in the best way possible! It was the perfect balance of sillyness and serious. It was super magical and loved the twist with werecats instead of werewolves! It's the perfect read for the upcoming autumn and halloween days! ✨ Also, I listened to the audiobook and I really really liked the voice actors :3
