If you're trying to get the Feminine Rage badge, I highly recommend adding this one to your TBR. It tackles so many women-related issues in the workplace and marriage especially from the perspective of middle-aged women who have seen it all. From men taking credit for women's hard work, to being held back in the workplace just because of gender, to the justice system failing to protect against predators... this book has it all. And on top of that, there's a murder mystery plot so it was the perfect read for me as a fan of thriller.

Despite bringing up so many societal issues, I don't think it feels forced or rushed. Unlike some books these days that cram in awareness without context, this one weaves these themes naturally into the story, which I thought was the best part.
