Trigger warnings for this book: domestic violence, sex scenes.
I CRIED AND I CRIED. It is beautiful, poetic, mesmerizing, and heart-wrenching all in equal measure. I was kinda scared picking up this one because I felt like it was overhyped, but the hype was, in fact, justified. I love the ending, the characters, the character development—everything, especially the yearning and the spice. Like, I'm getting both WLW and MLM, what more do I want??
However, I won't recommend this book to anyone who doesn't like poetic writing. This writing style remains consistent throughout the book, and is written from a second POV. It was such an interesting touch, imo, so these are some aspects I won't complain about.
Overall, I love this book and will recommend it to those looking for a beautiful, steamy, and devastating queer novel.

Life experiences do shape perspectives and this book is proof. I read this once when I was in my early 20s and thought it was a decent read but now not so much.
Man I'm still devastated. I was hoping to enjoy this book as much as I used to but I guess not this time.
