On reread, and with not even a single memory of what goes on in the book, it was an okay read. It certainly didn't live up to the feelings I had for it during my younger years but it was not terrible!

I do have memories of the Dragon, and I remember it being very prominent in the book but in actuality it wasn't really featured that much which I'm kind of disappointed about. Another thing to note, Evie isn't that great of a person but it was written in a way that makes it so that we should support he wrongdoings.

The writing is fine and the plot leaves much to be desired. I wish it expanded more about Evie's past instead of beating around the bush to make it seem mysterious and unsaid.

I do however like how it portrayed Evie's grief (or lack thereof) and I like the ending despite its morbid connotations. It shows instead of tells what I think is consistent with the thoughts Evie has throughout the book.

I redownloaded Webtoon to read this graphic novel amd my oh my was it worth it. The art alone was beautiful and I adore how much it look like watercolor. I am sad that it was short, having only 4 episodes on Webtoon, because the characters and premise were so intriguing! I wanted to know more about Clara, Jonah, the Devil and also what the 'power' he offered actually was. However, I did feel like the plot was a bit cluttered and hard to follow hence the 3.5 rating.

All in all, it's a short and visually-pleasing graphic novel that is worth the reading.
