I was not expecting something this sad and struggled a bit to start the book. But after reading the first chapter I realised this book is more of a bittersweet experience. It's about loss, grief, ending and new beginning. Making this a seasonal read brought a magical/special twist to the book. I've been seeing a lot of plum and cherry trees blossoming in my city and this book made it even more special.

Girly is giving everything on the house, it's good for her that the business is in a parallel world 😆

This was really good. Not only is the writing stunning, but the story really hooks you. It's more of a sapphic slice of life, having some quiet as well as more epic moments. I might re-read this at some point, as I feel the writing is packed with gems that you can easily miss while reading. Vibes were spotless, atmosphere amazing, I was struggling a bit with the end as the story is slowing down and less is happening. But I feel like it's part of the story as well, as Marie learn to be wiser and less temper driven (which is a side of her I missed at the end).

I seem to recall reading something about Pagebound being english speaking only, but my memory is a bit fuzzy. I am currently reading something in my native language, would forum posts/ reviews have to be in english or can I write them in my native language? Does someone know the rules, if there are any? 😊😊
