AMAZINGGGG the day I watched the movie I ran to barnes and noble to get the book and I’m sooo happy I did. Although the book and movie had a lot of differences I enjoyed both so much it definitely made its way into my favorites list and for once I’m happy my brain has a factory reset every couple of months so I can reread this again 🙈

rating for whole series!!

The plot was definitely was a little confusing at times but still very enjoyable! I have no idea if this is a hot take or popular opinion but I hatedddd the prince’s relationship with cairngorm it just felt so icky. Overall: the illustrations were so beautiful, unique plot, phos’s character difference at the beginning vs end was insane, anddd I was left with a huge existential crisis at the end so ofc I loved it :)

LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE Cress and Thorne’s relationship was to die for and I loved cress so much she’s such a good addition to the crew!! I’m so happy everyone is aware of the plan now and Kai and Cinder kissing AHHHH!!!! I practically leaped out of my chair with happiness. Jacin and the new princess intrigue me so much I love that every character is so lovable (except wolf….he pissed me off a lot in this book 😔) I can’t wait to read the next book!!!
