This book was a vibe. I HEAVILY related to piglet, especially with her relationship with her family. I’ve had my fair amount of body shaming nicknames from my family. I’m also DYING TO KNOW WHAT KITT DID. But I enjoyed how we never got to know and instead saw how Piglet reacted to said news. I was lowkey pissed she still stayed with him when she found out whatever news cause it definitely didn’t sound good. Overall a good read but nothing life changing. This book is very character driven (is a hit or miss for me) but I really enjoyed the food imagery.

I genuinely don’t know what I just read but I’m disturbed to the max. Miss Notty/Winifred is a literal PHYSCO. I mean the ending was insane, the whole time I was trying to figure out what was gonna happen and I was not expecting the end result. But honestly good for her LOL she did what she had to do. I wasn’t a huge fan of the writing style but overall a decent read

I feel like I need to reread and fully annotate this book cause this woman was drunk in love with her husband. I really enjoyed the crash out over being compared to a clementine cause I fear I would spiral as wells I dock my rating cause the epilogue wasn’t needed at all. I feel like having the husband say his POV made the story anticlimactic. Cause the entire story there’s a build up of if the husband will leave and it lets us readers analyze the husband. But overall a really good book. I think next time I’ll skip the epilogue Lol

Soft DNF( stopped at 250) , I think I might just listen to the audiobook cause I genuinely can not sit and read such a boring book. This books is VERY character driven (not my cup of tea, just due to the fact I originally thought the book was more plot driven). I really enjoyed the first 60% but then I got so bored and just didn’t care. I don’t want to completely DNF cause i definitely relate to both Eriko and Shoko but DAMN IM BORED. I really enjoyed the topic of female loneliness and wanting female friends, but idk obviously these two people don’t vibe so why is there an additional 200 pages. It feels like the story is wayyyyy too drawn out.
