I've been (slowly, oh so slowly) importing my library/ratings from my reading journal, and have noticed some trends in my overall ratings vs the breakdown of things not always matching up in a way that may make sense. So now I'm curious - do your rating breakdowns (Enjoyment, Quality, Characters, Plot) add up to your overall rating mathematically speaking? Do you base all of it on vibes/what feels right? Or have a different system entirely?

Curious if anyone plans on pre-ordering the paperback edition in order to get the Thomas prequel! I typically don't like paperbacks, but I also want to devour any additional material from the author, so I'm torn on if I should just bite the bullet and buy this one or not. I already have the hardcover, but I also know I'd love the Thomas bonus material. Especially since the cover for it seems to match the Laurie prequel from Hazelthorn. 👀

i want to love these. but the female audio narrator is The. Worst. i want to skip her chapters so badly. sounds like she has a cold and cant breathe.

i will always love a good riordanverse book. the characters are great for a laugh, and theres enough new twists to the mythos to keep me guessing but rick....my guy....WHAT is this book cover?!

cute for the age demographic, but the friend finder app gave me weird flashbacks to our school newspaper forcing the entire student population to take quizzes (and PAY FOR THEM) and then give us results on who our friends should be which.....definitely made the whole book a smidge less enjoyable for me

i am SO GLAD im done reading the first four (per a promise to my brother) because these dragged so baaaaaaaaad for me. i just could not connect with the characters at all.
