I loved Elm and Ione but it kinda felt like two completely separate storylines for most of the book. I don’t think it would’ve been compelling if it wasn’t told the way it was but it was definitely different than book 1. I also missed the epigraphs from the first book.

I think all the POVs actually ended up hurting the story a little but I loved the ending.

Not totally sure what percent it’s at because I was listening to it while driving to work but— this week long games and points system with an actual trophy sounds kinda fun. Like I’d be down to do that but I assume they’re gonna make it creepy and weird in a rich people way

I had fun with this book. Very funny but definitely got a bit repetitive. I am excited to see where the series goes from here.

Violets POV is so interesting to me. It’s kinda crazy to think people lived like this during WW2 like this is how I think of bridgerton- in 1700s. She grew up like this but also would’ve lived to see the iPhone
