That was the most uncomfortable conversation about a boner between two adults….

I will rate this with 5 stars, even though it felt more like a 4.0 to a 4.5 for this book. Many dialogues where 5 star worthy, so: granted.
Unhinged, both of them. Hot, both of them. Tragic, both of them. Cam and Em rock, honestly (not as much as Bunny and Bones, but I feel like I am biased there) and once the happenings picked up, I found myself easily slipping into back into binge reading. It always happens with Moronova and her writing style and I knew I had to get through the initial world building before I'd grow more interested. It's for those who haven't read LMB and that's totally fine and well done; I obviously just didn't need it.
If there is one thing I will forever be mad about in Moronovas books, it is the ending. They just never stick with me - they didn't in Leave Me Behind and they don't with this book. It was not what I had expected, but sadly not in a good way - for me. It slightly took away my hype for the second book, because I feel like we destroyed a perfect base with it, but I am willing to be convinced.

Sadly I do not love it as much as Leave Me Behind yet. But we stay positive.

So, so, so wichtig.
